TPTYC Series Three-Phase Variable-Frequency Permanent Magnet Synchronous Direct-Drive Motor
TPTYC permanent magnet synchronous motors are designed for low-voltage direct drive retrofit, replacing the classic "motor + gearbox + coupling" arrangement with a single, gearless, high-efficiency drive. By eliminating the gearbox, plant operators remove its maintenance cost, oil changes, alignment issues and efficiency losses — total system efficiency typically improves 5-15%.
The permanent magnet rotor delivers high torque at low speed, exactly where geared drives were previously required, with smooth low-speed operation and high dynamic response from a standard VFD. Available in 380V / 660V / 1140V ratings with custom low-speed / high-torque specifications. Typical applications: conveyor direct drives, mixer and agitator retrofits, extruder drives, and any low-speed high-torque process where gearbox reliability is a concern. Compact design simplifies installation; each motor is tested per IEC 60034 with full documentation.
